WHAT IS PONO?
In the Hawaiian language Pono is the personal and organizational value of rightness and balance. It differs slightly from the others, in reach: Most of us will spend more time aspiring to it, rather than fully practicing it. When a person is Pono they have the feeling of contentment that all is good and all is right in their life, a life of full integrity.
Pono fully embraces the attitudes of positivity and optimism. Life itself excites you, and you are full of hope, seeing that the future can only get better. Keep your life in balance. Do what is right. Reach for hope.

HOW DO I CLIMB PONO?
Climb Pono or to climb Righteously, embodies the value of Pono carried into our way of climbing. Pono steadies and teaches the attitude of positivity not just in they way we climb or think, but in the way we live.
We encourage climbers to climb Pono by climbing respectfully, encouraging stewardship and giving back to our community and our environment. Our goal is not to just help with the expansion and growth of the climbing community, but to help it in a way that its expansion and growth nurtures the values of climbing Pono. Join our sister non-profit, The Arch Project Hawaii, to climb Pono!
